Türkeş Akşit scored 1-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sakarias Bocklund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the SSC Napoli defense, Türkeş Akşit kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sakarias Bocklund. The SSC Napoli fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sakarias Bocklund should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clark Reuterwall in the 34th minute of play forced Andırın SK's goalkeeper Zhu Ao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sakarias Bocklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naci Tansu in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Türkeş Akşit to make the kick off. Andırın SK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Naci Tansu in the 54th minute. Rahim İskender made a great header on Andırın SK's corner, it was just that SSC Napoli's Sakarias Bocklund managed to reach the ball for a save. Andırın SK played a much better game than SSC Napoli and deserved their victory. The SSC Napoli players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
