When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Moise Vlădean sped through FC Sarajevo City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Diego Aloisi. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by DINAMO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Karol Joks was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Sarajevo City's players had a chance to rest. The corner led FC Sarajevo City's Karol Joks to fire away a dangerous shot which Ysmael Marfil despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Nicklas Kruuse managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Sarajevo City's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicklas Kruuse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ysmael Marfil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute 邓真傲 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Aloisi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Siniša Đukić got free with Ysmael Marfil in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diego Aloisi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryszard Borcz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Sarajevo City's Diego Aloisi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moise Vlădean in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 邓真傲 in the 34th minute of play forced FC Sarajevo City's goalkeeper Diego Aloisi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Otmar Klouček came free, but Ysmael Marfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Aloisi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moise Vlădean in the 38th minute of the match. After 40 minutes DINAMO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Karol Joks who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Jesar Sandrić managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 47 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Remus Pinaichev. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicklas Kruuse to make the kick off. A hard shot 52 in the game by Moise Vlădean from a close distance when the talented Diego Aloisi managed to make a qualified save. FC Sarajevo City's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicklas Kruuse in the 55th minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Husnija Alaim charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Husnija Alaim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes FC Sarajevo City got a freekick which was hit by Husnija Alaim. The audience was convinced that 邓真傲's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diego Aloisi was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. After 63 played minutes, FC Sarajevo City's Husnija Alaim shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Sarajevo City reached it. Diego Aloisi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moise Vlădean in the 70th minute of play. After a rather tough play, DINAMO's Otávio Penha got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Karol Joks made a precise shot to the right of Ysmael Marfil. DINAMO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After having played for 74 minutes, Nicklas Kruuse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Sarajevo City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicklas Kruuse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Nicklas Kruuse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ysmael Marfil was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. In the 92nd minute Nicklas Kruuse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Marfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DINAMO were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over FC Sarajevo City's much stronger midfield.
