An unexpectedly hard shot by Janne Töpperwien in the 3rd minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cássio Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Cina in the 4th minute of play. DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janne Töpperwien in the 7th minute of play. Janne Töpperwien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 13 minutes, Daniel Heinikangas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karhulan Veikot's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Heinikangas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute, Alex Fința hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind DINAMO's goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Claudio Cina kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Janne Töpperwien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cássio Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duro Miner in the 25th minute of play. If Janne Töpperwien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Karhulan Veikot getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Stamatis Kritikos hit a great ball. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Karhulan Veikot's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Henric Casas was slow to take the kick. During this time DINAMO's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Karhulan Veikot booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Fința didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Janne Töpperwien stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when István Vida came free, but Ysmael Marfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by DINAMO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. István Vida was slow to take the kick. During this time Karhulan Veikot's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Karhulan Veikot's corner Daniel Heinikangas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ysmael Marfil quite easily take care of the ball. Janne Töpperwien blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ysmael Marfil having to make a save. With his leg Cássio Ramos managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when DINAMO's Moise Vlădean fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Janne Töpperwien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alex Fința made in the 58th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Remus Pinaichev however managed to control. In the 59th minute, Stamatis Kritikos made a precise shot to the right of Ysmael Marfil. DINAMO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 62 minutes into the match, Karhulan Veikot's Janne Töpperwien sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ysmael Marfil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ysmael Marfil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janne Töpperwien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ysmael Marfil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janne Töpperwien in the 67th minute of play. If Janne Töpperwien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Karhulan Veikot's Janne Töpperwien in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DINAMO's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Janne Töpperwien in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ysmael Marfil saved DINAMO from getting behind. Janne Töpperwien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ysmael Marfil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Karhulan Veikot's goalkeeper Cássio Ramos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ryszard Borcz. A collision led to Karhulan Veikot getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. István Vida hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Janne Töpperwien in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ysmael Marfil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 90 minutes of play, Karhulan Veikot's Janne Töpperwien made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ysmael Marfil was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ryszard Borcz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cássio Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Borcz in the 95th minute of play.
