The supporters of Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ booed when BVB 09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basarab Iorgovan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zygmunt Koprowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Naldo Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Zygmunt Koprowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henrique Borges in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zygmunt Koprowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 25 played minutes Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fabiano Sena. 27 minutes into the match, Maxim Sfetcu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hansjörg Wastl. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maxim Sfetcu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Zygmunt Koprowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hansjörg Wastl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxim Sfetcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Octavian Caragea kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Felippe Pitta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Sfetcu came free, but Hansjörg Wastl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

If Henrique Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, BVB 09's Zygmunt Koprowski got control of the ball when Henrique Borges tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henrique Borges might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zygmunt Koprowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henrique Borges ran back to his position shaking his head. Hansjörg Wastl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavian Caragea in the 62nd minute of play. After 64 minutes, Marian Demian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BVB 09 and the Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes BVB 09 got a freekick which was hit by Marian Demian. Marian Demian was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. BVB 09 made a substitution. Iacob Vernescu replaced Maxim Sfetcu. Henrique Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Borges in the 86th minute of play forced BVB 09's goalkeeper Zygmunt Koprowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Henrique Borges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zygmunt Koprowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hansjörg Wastl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iacob Vernescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zygmunt Koprowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
