Burnley FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Henrique Borges scored to the left of an out of position Arif Oğuz Cantürk, making the score, 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Henrique Borges dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arif Oğuz Cantürk, 3-0. Hansjörg Wastl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Huchro in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Henrique Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Oğuz Cantürk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrique Borges got free with Arif Oğuz Cantürk in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 25 played minutes Burnley FC got a freekick which was hit by Alvise Africano. Hansjörg Wastl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Huchro, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Henrique Borges received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arif Oğuz Cantürk came out and tried to block the shot, but Henrique Borges slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 31st minute. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Henrique Borges put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Arif Oğuz Cantürk. The crowd rose to their feet as Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Henrique Borges slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arif Oğuz Cantürk. That made the score 6-0 after 42 minutes of play. In the 46th minute, Roch Hatman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henrique Borges blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arif Oğuz Cantürk having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henrique Borges was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Henrique Borges nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arif Oğuz Cantürk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. In the 57th minute Henrique Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Oğuz Cantürk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Edu Carvalho was substituted for Henrique Borges. Franco Epifani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hansjörg Wastl having to interfere. After 70 minutes, Alvise Africano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Burnley FC and the Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Burnley FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! Burnley FC were furious when Alvise Africano was red carded, 75 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Valdemar Tepedino was substituted for Felippe Pitta. 74 minutes into the game, one of Burnley FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 10-0 came in the 78th minute when Edu Carvalho all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Arif Oğuz Cantürk. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edu Carvalho in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arif Oğuz Cantürk saved Burnley FC from getting behind. 85 minutes into the match, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goalkeeper Hansjörg Wastl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Franco Epifani. Burnley FC's Arif Oğuz Cantürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu Carvalho in the 86th minute of play. Edu Carvalho might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arif Oğuz Cantürk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edu Carvalho ran back to his position shaking his head. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zé Ivakin in the 91st minute. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Zé Ivakin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arif Oğuz Cantürk in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
