The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulino Sayvion got free with Cássio Ramos in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Janne Töpperwien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cássio Ramos made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Oskar Törnblom sent off a good shot on target. Cássio Ramos made an important save on a dangerous shot by 杨宁卫 in the 46th minute.

The Old Boys made a substitution. 庄平战 replaced Paulino Sayvion. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oskar Törnblom to strike the kick off in the second half. The Old Boys's Florentino Dolfo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Janne Joenväärä, made in the 56th minute of the game. Peter Belkå stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Janne Töpperwien's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Karhulan Veikot's goal looked a bit too open when Monte Susanin came free, but Cássio Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Many of Karhulan Veikot's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Karhulan Veikot may have spent more time on the ball, but The Old Boys were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
