The BVB 09 fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when BVB 09's Maxim Sfetcu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zygmunt Koprowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from István Vida, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Karhulan Veikot's István Vida sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zygmunt Koprowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Janne Töpperwien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of BVB 09 booed when Karhulan Veikot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ohto Lamminen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner led BVB 09's Sorin Cotuțiu to fire away a dangerous shot which Cássio Ramos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Maxim Sfetcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Ramos having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Maxim Sfetcu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Karhulan Veikot's Cássio Ramos. Cássio Ramos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Denis Jilăveanu kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The Karhulan Veikot players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BVB 09 were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Janne Töpperwien stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Although Karhulan Veikot had been in control for most of the match, BVB 09 still came away with the win.
