An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Gelacio in the 23rd minute of play forced Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Ovidiu Caranfil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidiu Caranfil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pelle Haglund in the 31st minute of the match. Ovidiu Caranfil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Sauveur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Defensores de Lombroso's Gianluca Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Well-Well Benne in the 35th minute of play. When Pelle Haglund fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Defensores de Lombroso's protests and gave Pelle Haglund a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes Defensores de Lombroso got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Cordarrol. An unexpectedly hard shot by Well-Well Benne in the 47th minute of play forced Defensores de Lombroso's goalkeeper Gianluca Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ştefan Panțuru made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when Pelle Haglund came free, but Ovidiu Caranfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute Pelle Haglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Caranfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Defensores de Lombroso were furious when Lawrence Casa was red carded, 60 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Ştefan Panțuru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Gianluca Buffon made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Gelacio in the 67th minute of play forced Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Ovidiu Caranfil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 minutes Club Vertigo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bruno Sauveur who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Defensores de Lombroso's Bruno Sauveur to fire away a dangerous shot which Ovidiu Caranfil despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Valentín Barco made in the 85th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club Vertigo's Nikulás Benediktsson. Ovidiu Caranfil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Ferrer, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When Defensores de Lombroso's Ubaldo Gelacio in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
