The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iraklis Rapanos got free with Victoriano Horado in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xinto Carreiras scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victoriano Horado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Devoto club social's Marcial Valerio got a free kick in the 8th minute. Xinto Carreiras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victoriano Horado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute David Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cleto Ruisko made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sporting Buceo's Segundo Aureo. After 22 played minutes Devoto club social got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Evangelista. Xuan Casillas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32ndth minute of the game Xinto Carreiras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Devoto club social's Victoriano Horado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sporting Buceo's Máximo Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Martinez in the 36th minute of play. Máximo Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Tuste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 45 minutes, Dalmacio Tuste managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Devoto club social's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmacio Tuste was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 46 played minutes Devoto club social got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Ruisko.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xinto Carreiras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sporting Buceo's Xinto Carreiras managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Florentino Janpier in the 52 minute of the game. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Devoto club social's goalkeeper Victoriano Horado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 58th match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iraklis Rapanos to maneuver through the defense. If Diego Honesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Martinez in the 62nd minute of play forced Sporting Buceo's goalkeeper Máximo Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th match minute, Devoto club social was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Janpier to maneuver through the defense. Sporting Buceo made a substitution. Charly Good replaced Rainier Gregoire. Sporting Buceo made a substitution. Feng Jun replaced Xinto Carreiras. In the 66th minute, Florentino Janpier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feng Jun in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victoriano Horado saved Devoto club social from getting behind. In the 69th minute of the match Sporting Buceo got a corner. Devoto club social's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Xuan Casillas ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Xuan Casillas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Victoriano Horado quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Victoriano Horado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feng Jun in the 71st minute of the match. Isaias Evangelista's late challenge caught a Sporting Buceo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaias Evangelista helped the player get up and apologised. Isaias Evangelista hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the game, Feng Jun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Victoriano Horado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Victoriano Horado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charly Good in the 80th minute of the match. Sporting Buceo were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Devoto club social's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Xuan Casillas took the corner. Isaias Evangelista tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Victoriano Horado. An unnecessary self made goal, 4-0 in the 82nd minute. When Xuan Casillas came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Sporting Buceo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xuan Casillas couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Máximo Correia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Devoto club social's Victoriano Horado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feng Jun in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute Charly Good shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Horado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feng Jun in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victoriano Horado saved Devoto club social from getting behind. 90 minutes into the match, Devoto club social's goal looked a bit too open when Feng Jun came free, but Victoriano Horado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Devoto club social booed when Sporting Buceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sartori didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victoriano Horado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feng Jun, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
