Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Torgny Landin took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some careless play in the Devoto club social defense, Torgny Landin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victoriano Horado. The Devoto club social fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victoriano Horado should have stopped the shot. Jens-Åke Källberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Tuste in the 6th minute of the match. In the 11th minute of the game Tiburcio Mero made a throw-in which Mart Palermo played forward. In the 11th minute, Torgny Landin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victoriano Horado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 14 minutes into the match, Devoto club social's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Landin came free, but Victoriano Horado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens-Åke Källberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Martinez, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Victoriano Horado came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Torgny Landin. But to his dismay, Torgny Landin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 23rd minute Özkan Kayaer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Horado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Tiburcio Mero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Devoto club social's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boca Juniors the free kick. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Devoto club social was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Mero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Boca Juniors's Torgny Landin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victoriano Horado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 33rd minute, Torgny Landin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boca Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 38th minute of the match, Cleto Ruisko got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jens-Åke Källberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Vilhelm Holm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victoriano Horado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Gustav Stenkvist hit a great ball. After the first half Boca Juniors were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Martinez was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Marcial Valerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Åke Källberg came out of the goal and Marcial Valerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Torgny Landin notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Devoto club social's Victoriano Horado. Victoriano Horado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Victoriano Horado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torgny Landin in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Devoto club social's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Landin came free, but Victoriano Horado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victoriano Horado made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Torgny Landin sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Jan Höijer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Höijer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Horado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Boca Juniors's Harry Hedling was substituted for Niklas Kjellberg. With a little luck, Devoto club social's Victoriano Horado got control of the ball when Torgny Landin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torgny Landin in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victoriano Horado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victoriano Horado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torgny Landin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torgny Landin in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victoriano Horado saved Devoto club social from getting behind. In the 81st minute Dalmacio Tuste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Åke Källberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harry Hedling kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Cleto Ruisko was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Torgny Landin took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victoriano Horado. Victoriano Horado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. In the 91st minute, Tiburcio Mero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Torgny Landin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Victoriano Horado. That made the score 0-8 in the 95 minute of play. Boca Juniors played a much better game than Devoto club social and deserved their victory. The Devoto club social players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
