An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Höijer in the 9th minute of play forced North Port UTD's goalkeeper Geofredo Fox to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, North Port UTD's Atahan Durdu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jens-Åke Källberg. Jens-Åke Källberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind North Port UTD's goalkeeper Geofredo Fox, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Torgny Landin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, North Port UTD's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Landin came free, but Geofredo Fox reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torgny Landin might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geofredo Fox. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torgny Landin ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the North Port UTD defense, Torgny Landin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geofredo Fox. The North Port UTD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geofredo Fox should have stopped the shot. Geofredo Fox showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torgny Landin in the 41st minute of the match. Geofredo Fox took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torgny Landin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Atahan Durdu made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Torgny Landin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geofredo Fox was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Jens-Åke Källberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Onuralp Ülküm, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, North Port UTD's Raul Lima got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Raul Lima made in the 65th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dean Arrascaeta immediately put the ball in play. Atahan Durdu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jens-Åke Källberg having to make a save. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Julian Beturian replaced Jan Höijer. North Port UTD made a substitution. Yağız Nesil replaced Onuralp Ülküm. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Gerd Della replaced Özkan Kayaer. Julian Beturian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Geofredo Fox tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Lucas Alwege's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens-Åke Källberg was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Geofredo Fox was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Torgny Landin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torgny Landin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geofredo Fox having to interfere. In the 90th minute Ercan Şerif shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Åke Källberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geofredo Fox showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Beturian in the 92nd minute of the match. Dean Arrascaeta kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Benigno Dalmau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Boca Juniors had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
