Ivan Chiuzbaian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerd Della, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. With an all-out effort, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Jens-Åke Källberg threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stasio Bienienda, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Boca Juniors's Jens-Åke Källberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İlhami Akyazıcı in the 22nd minute of play. Ivan Chiuzbaian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerd Della, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Jens-Åke Källberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İlhami Akyazıcı in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Zhao Sen Yang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens-Åke Källberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ivan Chiuzbaian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerd Della, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Chiuzbaian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerd Della in the 31st minute of the match. Gerd Della received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ivan Chiuzbaian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boca Juniors's Özkan Kayaer was substituted for Niklas Kjellberg. Boca Juniors's Jan Höijer was substituted for Julian Beturian. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Torgny Landin replaced Gerd Della. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Holger Blom got a free kick in the 36th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zhao Sen Yang got free with Jens-Åke Källberg in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang, in the 45th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-. After 46 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Rickard Löfgren.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zhao Sen Yang made a kick off. Torgny Landin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian got control of the ball when Torgny Landin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59thth minute of the game Zhao Sen Yang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boca Juniors's Jens-Åke Källberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jens-Åke Källberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhao Sen Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 61st minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Källberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jiang Xuan Nan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Ivan Chiuzbaian skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Torgny Landin scored 2-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Chiuzbaian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Emil Wielopolski was substituted for Grigore Maghiran. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- made a substitution. Mugurel Pandele replaced İlhami Akyazıcı. Boca Juniors's Vilhelm Holm quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dacian Tilea, made in the 78th minute of the game. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s attentive Dacian Tilea managed to snatch the ball when Vilhelm Holm made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. The throw-in from Vilhelm Holm in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Bernardo Di Piazza. In the 87th minute, Torgny Landin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Chiuzbaian was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Jan Höijer came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ivan Chiuzbaian could save by the left post. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
