Sporting Buceo were furious when Duro Back was red carded, 14 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 14 minutes into the game, one of Sporting Buceo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 16 minutes, Soroca F.C.'s Iordanis Karatzaferis got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Máximo Correia. Máximo Correia made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Adrián Espadas sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute Soroca F.C. were awarded a corner. Gustavo Tartalo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Soroca F.C.'s Gustavo Tartalo to fire away a dangerous shot which Máximo Correia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Soroca F.C.'s Gustavo Tartalo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Máximo Correia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Adrián Espadas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Máximo Correia came out and tried to block the shot, but Adrián Espadas slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 28th minute. In the 38th minute Sporting Buceo were awarded a corner. Xuan Casillas went to the cornerflag to take it.

After 53 minutes Soroca F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Xuan Casillas who took care of the corner kick. Máximo Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrián Espadas in the 57th minute of the match. If Adrián Espadas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Romulo Thomas replaced Gustavo Tartalo. Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula was substituted for Adrián Espadas. A collision led to Sporting Buceo getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Segundo Aureo hit a great ball. Sporting Buceo made a substitution. Feng Jun replaced Xinto Carreiras. Sporting Buceo's Charly Good was substituted for Rainier Gregoire. After a rather tough play, Sporting Buceo's Segundo Aureo got a free kick in the 66th minute. If Răzvan Necula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 67 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Necula came free, but Máximo Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Sebastian Muc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Dan Wennerqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Răzvan Necula blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Máximo Correia having to make a save. Segundo Aureo got a throw-in 84 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Sebastian Muc. 87 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Muc came free, but Dan Wennerqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute Răzvan Necula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amador Venceslao hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the game, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Máximo Correia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, Soroca F.C. could leave the field as winners, despite Sporting Buceo having more of the ball for most of the match.
