Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ove Bergman started the match with the kick off. Jonathan Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Bergman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Palmquist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arrigo Marrone in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Granate's goalkeeper Jonathan Palmquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Otang Irawan. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Granate's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ciro Esposito was slow to take the kick. During this time Villa Gordiani's players had a chance to rest. Enzo Hermon thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Jonathan Palmquist, a very annoying self made goal in the 10th minute which led to 1-0. In the 15th minute Christos Triantafyllou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Casillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iker Casillas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christos Triantafyllou's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Iker Casillas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Estevon, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Ove Bergman fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jonathan Palmquist, passed just outside the right post. Granate's Jonathan Palmquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Granate from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Villa Gordiani's Fabrizio Canzano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Palmquist. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. Christos Triantafyllou might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iker Casillas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christos Triantafyllou ran back to his position shaking his head. 32 minutes into the match, Christos Triantafyllou notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Villa Gordiani's Iker Casillas. Iker Casillas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jaakko Ramstadius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Casillas having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Triantafyllou in the 42nd minute of play forced Villa Gordiani's goalkeeper Iker Casillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Granate were awarded a corner. Enzo Hermon went to the cornerflag to take it. Granate's Jonathan Palmquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Bergman in the 47th minute of play. Saverio Luken hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 49th minute, Saverio Luken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 50 minutes into the match, Granate's goalkeeper Jonathan Palmquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lia Marquez. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Christos Triantafyllou made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christos Triantafyllou in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iker Casillas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Granate getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Luisito Estevon hit a great ball. In the 67th minute Christos Triantafyllou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Casillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ove Bergman kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Fabrizio Canzano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Palmquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Granate defense, Lia Marquez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Palmquist. The Granate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Palmquist should have stopped the shot. Villa Gordiani's Iker Casillas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Villa Gordiani from getting a goal against them. After 78 played minutes Villa Gordiani got a freekick which was hit by Philippe Albert. When Granate's Jaakko Ramstadius in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Villa Gordiani's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Villa Gordiani's Ciro Esposito got a free kick in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lia Marquez in the 91st minute of play forced Granate's goalkeeper Jonathan Palmquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christos Triantafyllou's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Iker Casillas firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ove Bergman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Villa Gordiani were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Granate for a fine match.
