With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chen Ao Fan in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilvan Sanches saved Green Squad FC from getting behind. Olov Wahlnäs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Kevin Keegan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Gilvan Sanches skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Olov Wahlnäs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Barros in the 16th minute of play. Chen Ao Fans short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Gilvan Sanches to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Skövde AIK's Olov Wahlnäs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu Cosme in the 20th minute of play. Chen Ao Fan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Sanches having to interfere. Gilvan Sanches made an important save on a dangerous shot by Georg Norström in the 27th minute. Ulisses Antunes took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olov Wahlnäs. Olov Wahlnäs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gilvan Sanches made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chen Ao Fan in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Chen Ao Fan lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Gilvan Sanches. Kevin Keegan kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot Green Squad FC's keeper Gilvan Sanches was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 42nd match minute, Green Squad FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses Antunes to maneuver through the defense. Olov Wahlnäs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeu Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Knut Rudberg hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Olov Wahlnäs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Barros in the 46th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeu Cosme in the 48th minute of play forced Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Olov Wahlnäs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chen Ao Fan made a kick off. Gilvan Sanches stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chen Ao Fan's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. 51 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Skövde AIK's Chen Ao Fan fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Olov Wahlnäs made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Tadeu Cosme sent off a good shot on target. Leonardo Barros's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Olov Wahlnäs skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gilvan Sanches came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Skövde AIK's Kevin Keegan. But to his dismay, Kevin Keegan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Kevin Keegan kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Kurt Hamrin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Sanches having to interfere. Kurt Hamrin struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Gilvan Sanches didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skövde AIK. Leonardo Barros's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Olov Wahlnäs firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Chen Ao Fan put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gilvan Sanches. Olov Wahlnäs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeu Cosme in the 91st minute of the match. The supporters of Green Squad FC booed when Skövde AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Olov Wahlnäs made a huge save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Skövde AIK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Green Squad FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
