The supporters of Green Squad FC booed when Piratas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Birjaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victorino Gaufred dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 41st match minute, Green Squad FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Messias to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Piratas FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Amadeo Francesco hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Martxot made a kick off. Ulisses Antunes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Victorino Gaufred skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Victorino Gaufred was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Conrado Pernambucano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Conrado Pernambucano really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeu Cosme in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victorino Gaufred saved Piratas FC from getting behind. Piratas FC's Victorino Gaufred proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Piratas FC from getting a goal against them. After 60 minutes Piratas FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tadeu Cosme who took care of the corner kick. Lisandro Claude kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Piratas FC's goalkeeper Victorino Gaufred, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Green Squad FC's Tadeu Cosme in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tadeu Cosme came free in the 75th minute and tried to tip the ball over Victorino Gaufred, but to the joy of Piratas FC's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. In the 75th of the match, Tadeu Cosme tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Victorino Gaufred got in the way and made a wonderful save. 78 minutes into the match, Piratas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeu Cosme came free, but Victorino Gaufred reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gonçalo Maia might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victorino Gaufred. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gonçalo Maia ran back to his position shaking his head. 81 minutes into the match, Piratas FC's Amadeo Francesco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilvan Sanches narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Damian Precioso kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Leonardo Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Gaufred having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, Piratas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Martxot to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Leonardo Barros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victorino Gaufred. Piratas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo Barros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Ulisses Antunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Victorino Gaufred made a huge save. A collision led to Piratas FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Florentino Sendoa hit a great ball. Green Squad FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
