Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Skövde AIK's Chen Ao Fan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Conrado Pernambucano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olov Wahlnäs read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Krister Uggstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olov Wahlnäs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tadeu Cosme in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Keegan in the 11th minute of play forced Green Squad FC's goalkeeper Gilvan Sanches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olov Wahlnäs made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Leonardo Barros sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Green Squad FC defense, Chen Ao Fan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilvan Sanches. The Green Squad FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilvan Sanches should have stopped the shot. Gilvan Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chen Ao Fan in the 30th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Olov Wahlnäs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tadeu Cosme. In the 36th match minute, Skövde AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Keegan to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Olov Wahlnäs managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Green Squad FC's Tadeu Cosme fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ulisses Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kevin Keegan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Gilvan Sanches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilvan Sanches made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Keegan in the 46th minute of play. The Green Squad FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Skövde AIK were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonardo Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Green Squad FC's Conrado Pernambucano got a free kick in the 55th minute. Gilvan Sanches made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Chen Ao Fan sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Skövde AIK booed when Green Squad FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Skövde AIK's Kevin Keegan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 65th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gilvan Sanches but with some difficulty. Kevin Keegan struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Gilvan Sanches didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skövde AIK. After having played for 69 minutes, Leonardo Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Green Squad FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute Gonçalo Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Wahlnäs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chen Ao Fan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Sanches having to interfere. Chen Ao Fan struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Gilvan Sanches didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skövde AIK. In the 88th minute, Chen Ao Fan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Green Squad FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Skövde AIK to win.
