Thibaut Courtois made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when 武挺西 sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Tonete in the 13th minute of play forced Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Rhys Dimmock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GUSESI's Thibaut Courtois proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save GUSESI from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Stenman in the 18th minute of play forced Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Rhys Dimmock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chunche Montero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Thibaut Courtois made a huge save. If Ovidio Favila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th match minute, Zamalek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zack Grier to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, GUSESI's Basri Tanyeli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rhys Dimmock narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Zamalek FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Stenman came free, but Rhys Dimmock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of GUSESI booed when Zamalek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thibaut Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reese Otto in the 48th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. After 70 played minutes Zamalek FC got a freekick which was hit by Sergey Krasinskiy. Thibaut Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Kirkpatrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Luis Tonete could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Rhys Dimmock however easily saved by the left post. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Ovidio Favila advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-1 in the 83rd minute. A collision led to GUSESI getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Ovidio Favila hit a great ball. In the 88th minute 武挺西 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibaut Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Stenman in the 92nd minute of play forced Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Rhys Dimmock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viktor Schukin kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
