The crowd rose to their feet as GUSESI's Ovidio Favila slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 梅珂庭. That made the score 1-1 after 17 minutes of play. In the 22nd minute Xan 谢霆锋 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibaut Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thibaut Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 王骏坚 in the 25th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, GUSESI's goal looked a bit too open when Yılmaz Tigin came free, but Thibaut Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Xan 谢霆锋 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thibaut Courtois didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yılmaz Tigin went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Xan 谢霆锋's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thibaut Courtois was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
