Josef Slepička received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Abcdefghijklmno Vieira De Oliveira came out and tried to block the shot, but Josef Slepička slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 26th minute. Arnold Petřek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel--Angel Sigurdardottir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miroslav Kocman made in the 32nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Libor Litera however managed to control. Abcdefghijklmno Vieira De Oliveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Josef Slepička went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of ≮王者归来≯Kowloon City booed when FC Kopeto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Slávek Tošovský didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Liboslav Calta lost his temper 88 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. In the 92nd minute Cristian Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnold Petřek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonçalo Coelho's late challenge caught a FC Kopeto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
