Edvaldo de Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's zone, Laerte Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvaldo de Sousa came out of the goal and Laerte Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giuseppe Albuquerque scored 2-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edvaldo de Sousa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Régis Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo de Sousa having to interfere. A collision led to CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Renato Guimarães hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Régis Vides broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 38 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Agostinho Guedes came free, but Edvaldo de Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agostinho Guedes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edvaldo de Sousa having to make a save. 42 minutes into the match, Agostinho Guedes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edvaldo de Sousa. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agostinho Guedes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 46th minute of the match Régis Vides shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edvaldo de Sousa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Danilo Faria fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's protests and gave Danilo Faria a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Danilo Faria hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agostinho Guedes was the one to do the kick off. Edvaldo de Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Régis Vides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Régis Vides got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Régis Vides took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edvaldo de Sousa. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gildo de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo de Sousa having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Laerte Marquez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 卡納里尼奧 FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agostinho Guedes in the 77th minute of play forced CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Edvaldo de Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edvaldo de Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agostinho Guedes in the 87th minute of play. After a rather tough play, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Laerte Marquez got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 96th minute Laerte Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo de Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 卡納里尼奧 FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
