A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Joaquin Fonso hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witold Debowski in the 8th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Basilio Justin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Joaquin Fonso came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Club Atlético Atlanta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquin Fonso couldn't finish the play. Modlau's Krzysztof Cielencki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Felipo in the 13th minute of play. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Atlanta defense, Tolek Pryla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basilio Justin. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basilio Justin should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute, Joaquin Fonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Izydor Limanowski succeeded in the game's 18th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. In the 25th minute, Kelaino Mbappè made a precise shot to the right of Basilio Justin. Club Atlético Atlanta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After 28 played minutes Modlau got a freekick which was hit by Leszek Mazierski. In the 28th minute, Dionisio Monico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 30 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Paulin. In the 31st minute Tolek Pryla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Justin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th match minute, Modlau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witold Debowski to maneuver through the defense. Kelaino Mbappè sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Atlético Atlanta's Eustaquio Gerazan suffered a concussion in the 40th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Tolek Pryla's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Atlanta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tolek Pryla helped the player get up and apologised. Club Atlético Atlanta's Anibal Sancho was substituted for Eustaquio Gerazan. After 42 played minutes Modlau got a freekick which was hit by Tolek Pryla. The Club Atlético Atlanta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Modlau were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Izydor Limanowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Modlau's Krzysztof Cielencki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Felipo in the 52nd minute of play. Bernardo Ranolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krzysztof Cielencki having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Witold Debowski got free with Basilio Justin in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kelaino Mbappè's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Basilio Justin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kelaino Mbappè took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Basilio Justin. Basilio Justin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Modlau's zone, Joaquin Fonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krzysztof Cielencki came out of the goal and Joaquin Fonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Modlau walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
