In the 17th minute, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Tales Prestes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tales Prestes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tales Prestes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Tales Prestes got a free kick in the 18th minute. Mazinho da Costa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edvaldo de Sousa. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Osvaldo Soares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. William Rezende came out and tried to block the shot, but Osvaldo Soares slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 21st minute. The E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Valdo Garcia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 35th minute, Valdo Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the game, Valdo Garcia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Edvaldo de Sousa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Douglas Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo de Sousa having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Natã de Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's supporters rose to their feet, but Natã de Toledo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Rezende breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Jacinto Vander got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45thth minute of the game Valdo Garcia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Edvaldo de Sousa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edvaldo de Sousa came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Douglas Vieira. But to his dismay, Douglas Vieira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4.

Douglas Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 62 played minutes CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Vander. Douglas Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Edvaldo de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Natã de Toledo fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's protests and gave Natã de Toledo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd match minute, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natã de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. João Adolfo Cunha hit a great ball. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Edvaldo de Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovanni Koehler in the 79th minute of play.
