Arnold Petřek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Nasir Akkın, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Josef Slepička hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FCFiratRom booed when FC Kopeto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josef Winkler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute of the match Necaettin Safih shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnold Petřek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Josef Winkler received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kıvanç Sorgun came out and tried to block the shot, but Josef Winkler slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 20th minute. Josef Slepička's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kıvanç Sorgun firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, FC Kopeto's Libor Litera got a free kick in the 34th minute. Ahmet Nasir Akkın recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kopeto's zone, Necaettin Safih stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. When Liboslav Calta fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Kopeto's protests and gave Liboslav Calta a yellow card for diving instead. Arnold Petřek had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Fethi İdilkurt's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 45th match minute, FC Kopeto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mirko Branda to maneuver through the defense. FCFiratRom's Necaettin Safih couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 46th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Kopeto. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ahmet Nasir Akkın made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Ahmet Nasir Akkın sped through FC Kopeto's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnold Petřek. FCFiratRom's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kopeto the free kick. A collision led to FCFiratRom getting a freekick after 73 minutes play.
