FC Karamba's Enrique Mazza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save FC Karamba from getting a goal against them. A throw-in in the 37th minute of the game was made by Lajos Vermes with Danas Nausėda as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danas Nausėda in the 45th minute of play forced Şamaxı Bankirlər's goalkeeper Mänsur Rzayev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ruy Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jérémie Watremez to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, one of FC Karamba:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Oscar Mas put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Enrique Mazza. Mänsur Rzayev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danas Nausėda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Şamaxı Bankirlər's Mänsur Rzayev got control of the ball when Jérémie Watremez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jérémie Watremezs short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Mänsur Rzayev to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Enrique Mazza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oscar Mas went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Şamaxı Bankirlər's Akhilendra Murthy quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Arif Oğuz Cevan, made in the 89th minute of the game. In the 98th minute, Färid Abdulkärimov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Karamba's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
