After some careless play in the Argentina defense, Carlo Darrigrande kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Abad. The Argentina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Abad should have stopped the shot. If Carlo Darrigrande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Layton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baba Moco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s attentive Carlo Darrigrande managed to snatch the ball when Armando Felipillo made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Roberto Layton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baba Moco in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the match Argentina got a corner. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gregorio Urtsin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Argentina's Gregorio Urtsin to fire away a dangerous shot which Roberto Layton despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Argentina getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ezequiel Abecia hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Darrigrande in the 36th minute of play forced Argentina's goalkeeper David Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Darrigrande in the 38th minute of play. Roberto Layton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baba Moco in the 42nd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baba Moco made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Argentina's zone, Carlo Darrigrande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Abad came out of the goal and Carlo Darrigrande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The throw-in from Tommy Fribäck in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Argentina's Seb Gentiletti. Roberto Layton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baba Moco, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. David Abad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlo Darrigrande's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Roberto Layton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Santana in the 59th minute. Baba Moco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roberto Layton came out and tried to block the shot, but Baba Moco slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 60th minute. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ made a substitution. Peter Swan replaced Carlo Darrigrande. Argentina made a substitution. Benedicto Naelio replaced Baba Moco. Roberto Layton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedicto Naelio in the 65th minute. Benedicto Naelio came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Roberto Layton could save by the left post. Benedicto Naelio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Layton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Argentina were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gregorio Urtsin took the corner. The corner led Argentina's Gregorio Urtsin to fire away a dangerous shot which Roberto Layton despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Argentina booed when ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Fiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Argentina's Ricardo Chepe was substituted for Armando Felipillo. After a rather tough play, ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Ambrosio Fiz got a free kick in the 79th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Argentina's Benedicto Naelio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roberto Layton. That made the score 1-2 after 81 minutes of play. David Abad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jamar Eldridge went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jamar Eldridge in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Abad saved Argentina from getting behind. Roberto Layton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Chepe in the 95th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
