Christopher Stapleton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Trevor McAlphie in the 23rd minute. Ardán Dalton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachery Hutchison in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Rahan getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Alan Silke hit a great ball. Ardán Dalton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon Dozier, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Trevor McAlphie's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Christopher Stapleton firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Trevor McAlphie to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toby Couturier during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Christopher Stapleton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trevor McAlphie in the 54th minute of the match. The Rahan fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Rahan's Gerald McTom looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Trevor McAlphie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Casey Myler in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christopher Stapleton saved Milltown from getting behind. Casey Myler struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Christopher Stapleton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rahan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerald McTom in the 64th minute of play forced Milltown's goalkeeper Christopher Stapleton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rahan's Ardán Dalton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Rahan from getting a goal against them. Zachery Hutchison hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Williams Dempsey kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerald McTom in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christopher Stapleton saved Milltown from getting behind. Trevor McAlphie scored 4-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christopher Stapleton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Milltown players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rahan.
