Cristoforo Giordano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Selatse having to interfere. Nestor Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Minichiello in the 29th minute of play. Nestor Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Minichiello, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Federico Minichiello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Selatse having to interfere. Federico Minichiello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nestor Selatse read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Carmine Odisio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvestre Firmin's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

When Cristoforo Giordano came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Torino F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristoforo Giordano couldn't finish the play. A very good chance for a goal. 75 minutes into the match, Cuesta AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristoforo Giordano came free, but Nestor Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cirilo Otsando came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Cuesta AFC fans jumped to their feet. After 81 minutes, Federico Minichiello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Torino F.C. and the Cuesta AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Omar Ospin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carmine Odisio was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Armando Giacomini's late challenge caught a Cuesta AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
