In the 24th match minute, Strzygi SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleksander Walentowicz to maneuver through the defense. Antoni Percha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Everett Orr read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Antoni Percha's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Everett Orr firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, Horrocks's Fletcher Belford got a free kick in the 28th minute. Strzygi SA's Antoni Percha got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Randolph Cusbert charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Randolph Cusbert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Randolph Cusbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Randolph Cusbert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Buchanan Pearce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jerzy Kochowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Randolph Cusbert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jerzy Kochowski. Strzygi SA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Randolph Cusbert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Naumowicz in the 63rd minute of play forced Horrocks's goalkeeper Everett Orr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antoni Percha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Everett Orr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71st play minutes Buchanan Pearce shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Jerzy Kochowski and just under the crossbar into goal. Jerzy Kochowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randolph Cusbert in the 74th minute of play. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Edward Naumowicz sped through Horrocks's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Everett Orr. Jerzy Kochowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Buchanan Pearce went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. If Buchanan Pearce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerzy Kochowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Buchanan Pearce in the 94th minute. After a rather tough play, Strzygi SA's Tadeusz Dziurowicz got a free kick in the 94th minute.
