Vernd Grindavík's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Ernesto Salazar scored to the left of an out of position Össur Aðalmundsson, making the score, 1-1. Thanks to some nice moves Ernesto Salazar could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Össur Aðalmundsson however easily saved by the left post. Össur Aðalmundsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernesto Salazar in the 41st minute. Berg Finnbjörnsson hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Lechuga salvaje's Montrel Figueres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lórens Fjalarsson in the 44th minute of play. Montrel Figueres came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Vernd Grindavík's Dagbjartur Loðmundsson. But to his dismay, Dagbjartur Loðmundsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Montrel Figueres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagbjartur Loðmundsson in the 68th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Vernd Grindavík got a freekick which was hit by Berg Finnbjörnsson. Montrel Figueres was a little too slow when Tryggvi Loðmundsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 1-5. In the 77th minute, Vernd Grindavík's Bjarnleifur Hallbjörnsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Montrel Figueres. Montrel Figueres yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. After a rather tough play, Lechuga salvaje's Llin Casanova got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 92 minutes into the game, Dagbjartur Loðmundsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Montrel Figueres. Dagbjartur Loðmundsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-8.
