In the 7th minute, Ty Burschick ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pacôme Marmin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Erwin Hayer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Pennequin in the 12th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Norbert Pennequin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peltre's supporters rose to their feet, but Norbert Pennequin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erwin Hayer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Niederehe FC's Özcan Duttlinger got a free kick in the 18th minute. Salim Rios let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 26th minute shot 2-1 at rihgt post. After 35 minutes Peltre's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Conrad Themann who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Niederehe FC's Conrad Themann to fire away a dangerous shot which Pacôme Marmin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Niederehe FC's Dietbald Nissler got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Norbert Pennequin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Niederehe FC's Dietbald Nissler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pacôme Marmin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th match minute, Peltre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles-Emmanuel Cholet to maneuver through the defense. After 47 played minutes, Niederehe FC's Özcan Duttlinger shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pacôme Marmin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Niederehe FC reached it. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Erwin Hayer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Pennequin in the 54th minute of play. If Salim Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ty Burschick in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pacôme Marmin saved Peltre from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norbert Pennequin in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erwin Hayer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dietbald Nissler struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Pacôme Marmin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Niederehe FC. After 82 minutes, Klaus Kreber mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Niederehe FC and the Peltre players grew even worse after the yellow card. Klaus Kreber hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Norbert Pennequin might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erwin Hayer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Norbert Pennequin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute, Salim Rios ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erwin Hayer was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Ange Pissot hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Dietbald Nissler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
