Kilnacrew FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joseph Quinnless was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerzy Kochowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th match minute, Kilnacrew FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Todd Sheridan to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Julian Pleban fired a really elegant long shot, but Donn Todd threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Joseph Quinnless blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jerzy Kochowski having to make a save. Jerzy Kochowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomas McFrancise's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Donn Todd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Naumowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Thomas McFrancise succeeded in the game's 19th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Tadeusz Dziurowicz hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. When Joseph Quinnless came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Kilnacrew FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joseph Quinnless couldn't finish the play. Antoni Percha did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Donn Todd 28 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Kilnacrew FC's Todd Sheridan got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Julian Pleban sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kilnacrew FC's Donn Todd didn't even have to move. After some careless play in the Kilnacrew FC defense, Antoni Percha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donn Todd. The Kilnacrew FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donn Todd should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Joseph Quinnless's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerzy Kochowski was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Strzygi SA's Edward Naumowicz got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edward Naumowicz to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Percha in the 53rd minute of play forced Kilnacrew FC's goalkeeper Donn Todd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Strzygi SA booed when Kilnacrew FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brogan McFrancise didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Percha in the 56th minute of play forced Kilnacrew FC's goalkeeper Donn Todd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kilnacrew FC's Donn Todd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoni Percha in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Edward Naumowicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Strzygi SA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kilnacrew FC the free kick. In the 75thth minute of the game Edward Naumowicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kilnacrew FC's Donn Todd was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Antoni Percha struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Donn Todd didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Strzygi SA. Donn Todd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Naumowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Todd Sheridan during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Kilnacrew FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Todd Sheridan hit a great ball. Edward Naumowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Donn Todd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Strzygi SA's Jerzy Kochowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Strzygi SA from getting a goal against them. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kilnacrew FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Strzygi SA.
