After 7 played minutes, Rahan's Berkley Murphy shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Erwin Hayer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rahan reached it. Erwin Hayer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerald McTom in the 9th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Trevor McAlphie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erwin Hayer was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. 23 minutes into the match, Niederehe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerald McTom came free, but Erwin Hayer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Reilley Dempsey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conrad Themann took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ardán Dalton. Rahan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Rahan fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Rahan's Trevor McAlphie looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 33rd minute Ty Burschick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ardán Dalton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erwin Hayer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trevor McAlphie in the 34th minute of the match. Erwin Hayer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerald McTom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Niederehe FC defense, Trevor McAlphie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erwin Hayer. The Niederehe FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erwin Hayer should have stopped the shot. Erwin Hayer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Trevor McAlphie went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After the first half Rahan were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Trevor McAlphie made the kick off in the second half. Özcan Duttlinger kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rahan's goalkeeper Ardán Dalton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erwin Hayer made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Trevor McAlphie sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Trevor McAlphie got free with Erwin Hayer in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute, Rahan's Trevor McAlphie dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Ardán Dalton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dietbald Nissler in the 87th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Ty Burschick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ardán Dalton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Niederehe FC's goalkeeper Erwin Hayer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Trevor McAlphie. Rahan's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
