Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Falo Camara in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Selatse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Cuesta AFC defense, Ernesto Salazar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestor Selatse. The Cuesta AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Selatse should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute, Ernesto Salazar made a precise shot to the right of Nestor Selatse. Cuesta AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Falo Camara might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestor Selatse. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Falo Camara ran back to his position shaking his head. Ernesto Salazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Selatse having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lechuga salvaje's Ernesto Salazar got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lechuga salvaje's goalkeeper Montrel Figueres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th minute Cayetano Ishmael suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Juan Morera's late challenge caught a Cuesta AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Morera helped the player get up and apologised. In the 48th minute, Juan Morera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernesto Salazar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Falo Camara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Selatse having to interfere. A collision led to Lechuga salvaje getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Bertran Canyelles hit a great ball. In the 61st minute Falo Camara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cuesta AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Ernesto Salazar scored to the left of an out of position Nestor Selatse, making the score, 2-3. When Falo Camara came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Lechuga salvaje fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Falo Camara couldn't finish the play. Nestor Selatse was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Falo Camara capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Falo Camara really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. Nestor Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falo Camara in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Cuesta AFC's goalkeeper Nestor Selatse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Salazar. In the 81st minute Omar Ospin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Montrel Figueres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
