Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Barclay Duggan made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Randolph Cusbert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horrocks's supporters rose to their feet, but Randolph Cusbert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flannery McLiam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randolph Cusbert in the 12th minute of play forced Hillside's goalkeeper Flannery McLiam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Barclay Duggan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Hillside's Beehan Caffey got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Buchanan Pearce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Flannery McLiam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barhan Deans during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Hillside got a freekick which was hit by Barhan Deans. After a defensive mix-up in Hillside's zone, Buchanan Pearce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flannery McLiam came out of the goal and Buchanan Pearce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Buchanan Pearce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 32 played minutes Barclay Duggan rounded Horrocks's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Russell Pinhey scored 1-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flannery McLiam, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st minute, Randolph Cusbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everett Orr was a little too slow when Barclay Duggan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Buchanan Pearce in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flannery McLiam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
When Barclay Duggan came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Hillside fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barclay Duggan couldn't finish the play. Horrocks's Archie Oneill got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teigue Gallagher kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Buchanan Pearce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flannery McLiam was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Angus Stockwin. After a defensive mix-up in Hillside's zone, Buchanan Pearce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flannery McLiam came out of the goal and Buchanan Pearce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Everett Orr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torran McLian in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Archie Oneill was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Horrocks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hillside the free kick. After 72 played minutes Horrocks got a freekick which was hit by Archie Oneill. Barclay Duggan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Buchanan Pearce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Russell Pinhey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Flannery McLiam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Buchanan Pearce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Flannery McLiam made a huge save. Everett Orr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barclay Duggan in the 96th minute of the match. Many of Horrocks's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Horrocks may have spent more time on the ball, but Hillside were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
