Guilherme Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guilherme Sena couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the match, Niederehe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme Sena came free, but Erwin Hayer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erwin Hayer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Paulo Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Luiz Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. José Carlos Paulista took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erwin Hayer. Erwin Hayer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Carlos Paulista made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Marolla FC's José Carlos Paulista slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erwin Hayer. That made the score 1-2 after 65 minutes of play. Dietbald Nissler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Dietbald Nissler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernandinho Marquez. Marolla FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dietbald Nissler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After 79 minutes of play Marolla FC's Luiz Paulista was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Marolla FC's Luiz Paulista got a free kick in the 79th minute. The supporters of Marolla FC booed when Niederehe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ty Burschick didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Dietbald Nissler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernandinho Marquez. Marolla FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dietbald Nissler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. In the 87th minute Dietbald Nissler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandinho Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ty Burschick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Niederehe FC's goalkeeper Erwin Hayer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ty Burschick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandinho Marquez having to interfere. Marolla FC's Fernandinho Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ty Burschick in the 97th minute of play. Marolla FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
