The Niederehe FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Erwin Hayer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Russell Pinhey's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Uwe Pohl charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uwe Pohl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Niederehe FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Randolph Cusbert to strike the kick off in the second half. Everett Orr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ty Burschick in the 52nd minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Niederehe FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Horrocks:s goal. Ty Burschick took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Everett Orr. Everett Orr dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Horrocks's goalkeeper Everett Orr, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dietbald Nisslers short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Everett Orr to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Buchanan Pearce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Buchanan Pearce struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Randolph Cusbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Erwin Hayer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niederehe FC's Erwin Hayer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Buchanan Pearce in the 95th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Horrocks's Archie Oneill got a free kick in the 97th minute. The Niederehe FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Niederehe FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
