Fedele Pocobello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalvin Ingjaldsson in the 5th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Bjarnleifur Hallbjörnsson made a precise shot to the right of Fedele Pocobello. Torino F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Lo Iacono in the 11th minute of play forced Vernd Grindavík's goalkeeper Össur Aðalmundsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Össur Aðalmundsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinando Tatangelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Össur Aðalmundsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferdinando Tatangelo went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Bjarnleifur Hallbjörnsson took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fedele Pocobello. Fedele Pocobello dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Össur Aðalmundsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristoforo Giordano, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 35 played minutes Vernd Grindavík got a freekick which was hit by Mikjáll Geislason. Bjarnleifur Hallbjörnsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fedele Pocobello having to make a save. Dalvin Ingjaldsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Fedele Pocobello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fedele Pocobello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bjarnleifur Hallbjörnsson in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Dagbjartur Loðmundsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fedele Pocobello was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Fedele Pocobello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalvin Ingjaldsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Össur Aðalmundsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristoforo Giordano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristoforo Giordano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Össur Aðalmundsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Dagbjartur Loðmundsson hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Fedele Pocobello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bjarnleifur Hallbjörnsson in the 69th minute of play. With a little luck, Vernd Grindavík's Össur Aðalmundsson got control of the ball when Davide Lo Iacono tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ferdinando Tatangelo kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Vernd Grindavík's Berg Finnbjörnsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fedele Pocobello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Torino F.C.'s zone, Mikjáll Geislason stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fedele Pocobello came out of the goal and Mikjáll Geislason tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bjarnleifur Hallbjörnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dagbjartur Loðmundsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Torino F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vernd Grindavík.
