After a rather tough play, Niederehe FC's Klaus Kreber got a free kick in the 17th minute. The Niederehe FC fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Niederehe FC's Fynn Eschlimann looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ty Burschick succeeded in the game's 25th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Thomas McFrancise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erwin Hayer having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ty Burschick in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donn Todd prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas McFrancise in the 36th minute of play forced Niederehe FC's goalkeeper Erwin Hayer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Thomas McFrancise notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Niederehe FC's Erwin Hayer. Erwin Hayer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Kilnacrew FC's zone, Dietbald Nissler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donn Todd came out of the goal and Dietbald Nissler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ty Burschick was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Kilnacrew FC booed when Niederehe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilja Ehrenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Thomas McFrancise kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erwin Hayer. That made the score 3-2 in the 54 minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barrie Palmer couldn't finish the play.
