Christopher Stapleton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Salim Rios went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Peltre's Norbert Pennequin got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Milltown's Ariel Alexander got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 13th minute, Salim Rios got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Williams Dempsey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Pacôme Marmin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Christopher Stapleton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norbert Pennequin in the 18th minute. After having played for 19 minutes, Salim Rios managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peltre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salim Rios was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21st play minutes Norbert Pennequin shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Christopher Stapleton and just under the crossbar into goal. After 23 minutes, Aurèle Romo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Milltown and the Peltre players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Milltown's Christopher Stapleton got control of the ball when Salim Rios tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christopher Stapleton made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Salim Rios sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Peltre booed when Milltown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurèle Romo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yohann Leblond, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Williams Dempsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 35 played minutes Milltown got a freekick which was hit by Toby Couturier. Jon Dozier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Jon Dozier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 42 played minutes Milltown got a freekick which was hit by Toby Couturier. When Charles-Emmanuel Cholet fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peltre's protests and gave Charles-Emmanuel Cholet a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Peltre getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Charles-Emmanuel Cholet hit a great ball. In the 46th minute Jon Dozier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pacôme Marmin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The crowd rose to their feet as Milltown's Williams Dempsey slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pacôme Marmin. That made the score 2-2 after 53 minutes of play. Jon Dozier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pacôme Marmin having to interfere. Christopher Stapleton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salim Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Pacôme Marmin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Salim Rios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christopher Stapleton having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, Peltre's Salim Rios nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christopher Stapleton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Salim Rios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Christopher Stapleton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Norbert Pennequin made a precise shot to the right of Christopher Stapleton. Milltown's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. If Jon Dozier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Williams Dempsey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Milltown's supporters rose to their feet, but Williams Dempsey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pacôme Marmin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Milltown booed when Peltre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Achille Conchon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th match minute, Peltre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavien Desire to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Williams Dempsey got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 90th match minute, Milltown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toby Couturier to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Salim Rios got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peltre's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
