The audience thought a goal was coming when José Carlos Paulista got free with Everett Orr in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute, Russell Pinhey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If José Carlos Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guilherme Senas short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Everett Orr to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guilherme Sena got free with Everett Orr in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th match minute, Horrocks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Russell Pinhey to maneuver through the defense. Everett Orr had great luck who in the 96thth minute grab hold of the ball when José Carlos Paulista from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Everett Orr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Carlos Paulista, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Marolla FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
