The supporters of Avish FC booed when Cuesta AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Otsando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nestor Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yacine Bentifour in the 22nd minute of play. If Yacine Bentifour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Selatse was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Omar Ospin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodil Boulahfane having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Nestor Selatse didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amar Malek went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Yacine Bentifour put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Nestor Selatse. Yacine Bentifour took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestor Selatse. Nestor Selatse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Nestor Selatse made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Yacine Bentifour sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Amar Malek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avish FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amar Malek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Selatse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yacine Bentifour who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Nestor Selatse when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 94 in the game by Yacine Bentifour from a close distance when the talented Nestor Selatse managed to make a qualified save. Cuesta AFC's players were relieved. The Avish FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Avish FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
