Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Barclay Duggan kicked off to start the match. Grant Fountain hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Bray Ramsey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torran McLian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christopher Stapleton having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Torran McLian made a precise shot to the right of Christopher Stapleton. Milltown's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Flannery McLiam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Williams Dempsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Williams Dempsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the game, Milltown's Williams Dempsey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flannery McLiam made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 21st minute, Williams Dempsey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the last second Flannery McLiam throw himself and got hold of the ball when Williams Dempsey in the 23rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 29 played minutes Milltown got a freekick which was hit by Zachery Hutchison. Flannery McLiam stood somewhat misplaced when Jon Dozier came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 33 minute. The Hillside fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Hillside's Barclay Duggan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Flannery McLiam made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jon Dozier in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Williams Dempsey made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jon Dozier in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flannery McLiam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Toby Couturier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Williams Dempsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Flannery McLiam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Torran McLian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flannery McLiam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Williams Dempsey in the 65th minute of play. Christopher Stapleton was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Barclay Duggan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 66 minute of play. After having played for 73 minutes, Williams Dempsey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Milltown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Williams Dempsey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 75 minutes of play Milltown's Zachery Hutchison was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Zachery Hutchison hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Beairtle Holt kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute of the match Antonio Pinette sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flannery McLiam skillfully saved the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Milltown's goalkeeper Christopher Stapleton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torran McLian. Flannery McLiam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jon Dozier's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Christopher Stapleton was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Torran McLian capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Torran McLian really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hillside had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
