Niederehe FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dietbald Nissler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerzy Kochowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the game, Tadeusz Dziurowicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Strzygi SA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Niederehe FC the free kick. After 14 played minutes Strzygi SA got a freekick which was hit by Tadeusz Dziurowicz. After some careless play in the Strzygi SA defense, Özcan Duttlinger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerzy Kochowski. The Strzygi SA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerzy Kochowski should have stopped the shot. Antoni Percha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erwin Hayer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Naumowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Strzygi SA's zone, Ty Burschick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerzy Kochowski came out of the goal and Ty Burschick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dietbald Nissler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antoni Percha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Erwin Hayer made a huge save. Jerzy Kochowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dietbald Nissler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dietbald Nissler came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Niederehe FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dietbald Nissler couldn't finish the play. Edward Naumowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Erwin Hayer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Edward Naumowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antoni Percha got free with Erwin Hayer in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jerzy Kochowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dietbald Nissler in the 46th minute of play. A collision led to Niederehe FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Özcan Duttlinger hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edward Naumowicz made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Antoni Percha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Hayer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dietbald Nissler struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Jerzy Kochowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Niederehe FC. Jerzy Kochowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dietbald Nissler in the 63rd minute. Julian Pleban kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Jerzy Kochowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ty Burschick in the 66th minute of play. Erwin Hayer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoni Percha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Waclaw Jekot hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Julian Pleban's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erwin Hayer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Niederehe FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
