Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Barclay Duggan started the match with the kick off. Norbert Pennequin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Flannery McLiam came out and tried to block the shot, but Norbert Pennequin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 6th minute. Flannery McLiam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Pennequin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salim Rios in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Flannery McLiam, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Pennequin in the 11th minute of play forced Hillside's goalkeeper Flannery McLiam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Barclay Duggan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hillside fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The supporters of Peltre booed when Hillside was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beehan Caffey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torran McLian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Barclay Duggan made a precise shot to the right of Pacôme Marmin. Peltre's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Teigue Gallagher's late challenge caught a Peltre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teigue Gallagher helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hillside getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Teigue Gallagher hit a great ball. Flannery McLiam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Pennequin in the 33rd minute of the match. Barclay Duggan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pacôme Marmin having to interfere. Bresal McPhil kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Norbert Pennequin took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flannery McLiam. Flannery McLiam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Norbert Pennequin made a kick off. Beehan Caffey's late challenge caught a Peltre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beehan Caffey helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hillside's Beehan Caffey got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 53rd minute of the match Yohann Leblond shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flannery McLiam showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Norbert Pennequin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flannery McLiam having to interfere. Pacôme Marmin was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Barclay Duggan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Barclay Duggan really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. After a rather tough play, Peltre's Achille Conchon got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 71 played minutes Peltre got a freekick which was hit by Achille Conchon. Salim Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Pennequin in the 76th minute of play forced Hillside's goalkeeper Flannery McLiam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Barhan Deans fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hillside's protests and gave Barhan Deans a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Peltre booed when Hillside was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barhan Deans didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Hillside's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Pennequin came free, but Flannery McLiam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norbert Pennequin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flannery McLiam read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. The Peltre supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hillside's performance. The match ended with a win for Hillside.
