Cuesta AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Randolph Cusbert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 21 minutes, Iggi Shorten mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Horrocks and the Cuesta AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Horrocks getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Iggi Shorten hit a great ball. Nestor Selatse made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Buchanan Pearce sent off a good shot on target. After 27 played minutes Cuesta AFC got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Firmin. If Buchanan Pearce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Horrocks's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Firmin came free, but Everett Orr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Buchanan Pearce got free with Nestor Selatse in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Cirilo Otsando fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cuesta AFC's protests and gave Cirilo Otsando a yellow card for diving instead. Cirilo Otsando hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 40th match minute, Horrocks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Randolph Cusbert to maneuver through the defense. Silvestre Firmin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Everett Orr having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Cuesta AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Horrocks the free kick. Cayetano Ishmael kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Randolph Cusbert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horrocks's supporters rose to their feet, but Randolph Cusbert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Selatse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nestor Selatse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Buchanan Pearce's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 79th minute, Buchanan Pearce ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nestor Selatse was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Buchanan Pearce in the 82nd minute of play forced Cuesta AFC's goalkeeper Nestor Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Cuesta AFC booed when Horrocks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Buchanan Pearce didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Horrocks had won after a very even match.
