Cuesta AFC's Nestor Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bjarnleifur Hallbjörnsson in the 4th minute of play. Bartolo Quilino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Össur Aðalmundsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dalvin Ingjaldsson in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Selatse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dalvin Ingjaldsson took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestor Selatse. Nestor Selatse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Bjarnleifur Hallbjörnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vernd Grindavík's supporters rose to their feet, but Bjarnleifur Hallbjörnsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Selatse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Bartolo Quilino fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cuesta AFC's protests and gave Bartolo Quilino a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cuesta AFC booed when Vernd Grindavík was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bjarnleifur Hallbjörnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Omar Ospin kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vernd Grindavík's Teitur Ásþórsson got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 33rdth minute of the game Dalvin Ingjaldsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuesta AFC's Nestor Selatse was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Cuesta AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dalvin Ingjaldsson came free, but Nestor Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Cuesta AFC defense, Bjarnleifur Hallbjörnsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestor Selatse. The Cuesta AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Selatse should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Bjarnleifur Hallbjörnsson in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nestor Selatse, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Cuesta AFC booed when Vernd Grindavík was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bjarnleifur Hallbjörnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Nestor Selatse managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Vernd Grindavík's Bjarnleifur Hallbjörnsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nestor Selatse was a little too slow when Bjarnleifur Hallbjörnsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-4. In the 62nd match minute, Cuesta AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Quilino to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Cuesta AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dalvin Ingjaldsson came free, but Nestor Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Vernd Grindavík's Bjarnleifur Hallbjörnsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Nestor Selatse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bjarnleifur Hallbjörnsson in the 82nd minute. Cuesta AFC's Nestor Selatse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Cuesta AFC from getting a goal against them. Bjarnleifur Hallbjörnsson scored 0-6 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nestor Selatse, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the match, Cuesta AFC's goalkeeper Nestor Selatse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bjarnleifur Hallbjörnsson. Nestor Selatse made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Bjarnleifur Hallbjörnsson sent off a good shot on target.
