After some careless play in the Niederehe FC defense, Berkley Murphy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erwin Hayer. The Niederehe FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erwin Hayer should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the game, Trevor McAlphie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Erwin Hayer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ardán Dalton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uwe Pohl in the 44th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Trevor McAlphie made the kick off in the second half. Özcan Duttlinger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ardán Dalton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Dietbald Nissler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ardán Dalton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niederehe FC were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Rahan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Conrad Themann took the corner. Niederehe FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Trevor McAlphie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. If Dietbald Nissler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dietbald Nissler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ardán Dalton having to interfere. Alan Silke's late challenge caught a Niederehe FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Silke helped the player get up and apologised. Alan Silke kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Gerald McTom might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erwin Hayer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerald McTom ran back to his position shaking his head. Dietbald Nissler came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ardán Dalton could save by the left post. Dietbald Nissler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ardán Dalton having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Niederehe FC's Özcan Duttlinger dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-2. 92 minutes into the match, Niederehe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerald McTom came free, but Erwin Hayer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Özcan Duttlinger kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Niederehe FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Rahan had won, even though Niederehe FC had held more of the ball.
