Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Thomas McFrancise started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 played minutes Hillside got a freekick which was hit by Flann Deans. After a defensive mix-up in Hillside's zone, Thomas McFrancise stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flannery McLiam came out of the goal and Thomas McFrancise tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kilnacrew FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Trien Sheridan in the 9th minute. After 11 minutes of play, Hillside's Barclay Duggan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donn Todd was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joseph Quinnless fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flannery McLiam having to interfere. Donn Todd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torran McLian in the 16th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Kilnacrew FC got a freekick which was hit by Brogan McFrancise. If Joseph Quinnless had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Hillside's Teigue Gallagher got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th match minute, Hillside was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beehan Caffey to maneuver through the defense. Thomas McFrancise charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomas McFrancise the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thomas McFrancise hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Teigue Gallagher hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Thomas McFrancise kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Flannery McLiam. That made the score 1-1 in the 33 minute of play. Torran McLian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donn Todd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barclay Duggan, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Torran McLian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Barclay Duggan to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Hillside defense, Joseph Quinnless kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flannery McLiam. The Hillside fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flannery McLiam should have stopped the shot. Thomas McFrancise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flannery McLiam having to interfere. Thomas McFrancise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas McFrancise in the 65th minute of play forced Hillside's goalkeeper Flannery McLiam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joseph Quinnless recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomas McFrancise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Donn Todd managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Hillside's Torran McLian fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kilnacrew FC's Joseph Quinnless got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thomas McFrancise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flannery McLiam having to interfere. A collision led to Kilnacrew FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Brogan McFrancise hit a great ball. After 84 minutes, Bray Ramsey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hillside and the Kilnacrew FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 91 played minutes Hillside got a freekick which was hit by Beairtle Holt. A collision led to Hillside getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Beehan Caffey hit a great ball. Trien Sheridan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Flannery McLiam. Hillside's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 95 minutes of play Hillside's Bray Ramsey was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 96th minute, Bray Ramsey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
