With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorio Ascencio in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernandinho Marquez saved Marolla FC from getting behind. Durvalino Queiroz, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Astor Oinatz kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Marolla FC defense, Victorio Ascencio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernandinho Marquez. The Marolla FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernandinho Marquez should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Marolla FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Durvalino Queiroz hit a great ball. Victorio Ascencio might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernandinho Marquez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victorio Ascencio ran back to his position shaking his head. Victorio Ascencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Wilfredo Benvide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 31 minutes into the game, Victorio Ascencio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Fernandinho Marquez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Mama que Sabor:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Marolla FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Teo Costante, was totally fooled by Marolla FC's Durvalino Queiroz, who 44 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After the first half Mama que Sabor were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Carlos Paulista was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Guilherme Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Costante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernandinho Marquez stood somewhat misplaced when Victorio Ascencio came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 54 minute. Wilfredo Benvide might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernandinho Marquez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilfredo Benvide ran back to his position shaking his head. After 62nd play minutes Victorio Ascencio shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Fernandinho Marquez and just under the crossbar into goal. Guilherme Sena scored 2-4 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teo Costante, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marolla FC's goalkeeper Fernandinho Marquez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Marolla FC's zone, Victorio Ascencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernandinho Marquez came out of the goal and Victorio Ascencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorio Ascencio in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernandinho Marquez saved Marolla FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Carlos Paulista in the 78th minute of play forced Mama que Sabor's goalkeeper Teo Costante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mama que Sabor's Teo Costante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme Sena in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st play minute Wilfredo Benvide came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fernandinho Marquez. 2-5. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Fernandinho Marquez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guilherme Sena in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teo Costante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mama que Sabor's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
